Eat More Real Food
Is your mindset holding you back from reaching your health goals?
Do you fear carbs, fat or whatever you have been taught to avoid?
Do you think that the only way to reach your goals is to restrict foods or drastically decrease your calories?
Are you constantly looking for the next diet to finally help you reach your goals?
Maybe you know what you should eat but you just can't commit to making the necessary changes.
There is often times a disconnect when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle; we know what’s good for our bodies, but we don’t always act accordingly. My aim is to fill the gap between knowing and doing, by catering to each individual's unique circumstances. I want you to have freedom from food and learn to eat in tune with your body. Food freedom means living your best life without worrying about food. It means having the freedom to go on vacation and not worry about gaining weight. It means going out to eat with friends and not having to obsess over the menu. It means not labeling foods as good or bad. When you learn to listen to your body, incredible things happen. Your mindset shifts and as a result your body automatically settles into a natural healthy weight.
Whether it is weight loss or weight management, managing a dietary condition, or developing a healthy relationship with food, I offers a variety of services designed to meet your needs.

Healthy Eating for Kids
About Monica Hoss
MS, RD, LD
I'm a Registered Dietitian with a Master's Degree in Nutrition Science. My passion is empowering others to cook at home and teaching them how to make sustainable lifestyle changes. I am equally as passionate about ditching the diet mentality and teaching my clients to have food freedom. In 2017 I was the founding dietitian for Take Back the Kitchen, a meal plan service that has helped 1500 families eat healthier for over 2 years.
You might find me eating a vegan grain bowl or you're equally as likely to find me eating pizza and wine. I live in the Twin Cities with my husband Chris, two young kids, Luca and Lila and dog, Annie.
I worked as a public health dietitian for several years before making the leap to the world of nutrition and wellness coaching. If I wasn't a dietitian, I'd be a travel writer. My morning always starts with coffee and most nights, a glass of wine.
